Michael Washington
Michael
Washington is a big fan of crimson. Perhaps that is why
the Tuscaloosa native decided to “stay home” at
The University of Alabama. He holds and B.A. in Communication,
specializing in advertising, creative writing and graphic
design. As a communications specialist in the office of
Marketing and Communications at UA, he writes and designs
for various media, while working with fellow advertising
and PR professionals to maintain UA’s corporate identity.
His work has won recognition from the American Advertising
Federation, the Public Relations Council of Alabama and
the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Michael
currently serves as communications chair for AAF Tuscaloosa.
An avid supporter of the arts in west Alabama, Michael
enjoys painting and figure drawing in his spare time. He
is available for parties and bar mitzvahs. He won’t
perform anything—but he’s available.

Vicki Mills
Vicki Mills is currently serving as Board Chair of the
Seventh District of the American Advertising Federation
for 2006-2007 after serving for one year as Governor of
the 7 th District. Vicki is Vice-President of Imedia Group.
Imedia is a printing, graphic design, publishing and consulting
firm in Macon .
Mills responsibilities include managing the advertising,
print and publishing sales, marketing consultation and
new business venture development.
She works closely with the editors and designers in implementing
publication and ad design layout
Employed by Bright Ideas Group, a full service ad agency
for eleven years, Mills is credited as an expert in the
fields of media buying and placement, market and sales
consultation, research and market strategies.
Mills
has served on American Advertising’s National
Board of Directors and has received the 7th District’s
prestigious Otis Dodge Memorial Award. She is a former
President and current board member of the Central Georgia
Advertising Federation and previously received the AAF
Silver Medal Award from the federation. She has served
as a District judge for the National Student Competition
as well as judged numerous ADDY Award competitions.
Mills
also serves on the board of the Downtown Macon Rotary
Club, Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, Macon-Bibb County
Economic Development Commission, Tour de Georgia and
the Macon Bibb County Convention and Visitor’s
Bureau.
Mills
will be serving as co-chair for the American Advertising
Federation’s
National Convention to be held in Atlanta this June.
Vicki attended the University of Georgia and Georgia College
and State University in Milledgeville.

Elizabeth M. Perry
Art Director
Harris, DeVille & Associates, Inc.
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Elizabeth
is a graduate of Louisiana State University and has more
than 25 years experience in advertising, graphic design
and printing production. Her previous work experience
has been with advertising agencies, printing companies,
newspapers and publishing firms in Louisiana and Texas.
She currently serves as the Art Director for Harris,
DeVille & Associates,
Inc., a full-service communications firm specializing in
issues management based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
She
has received several local, regional, national and international
awards for her graphic design and creativity including
ADDY ® Awards,
Southern Public Relations Federation Lantern Awards,
International Association of Business Communicators Awards,
The Communicator Awards, Summit Creative Awards, MarComm
Creative Awards and awards from several other graphic
design, advertising and printing competitions. Several
of her pieces have been published in the Creativity 34
and 36 design annuals.
Elizabeth
has been on her Ad Fed’s board of directors
since 1994, chairing several committees, including their
50 th Anniversary ADDY ® Awards. She served as President
in 1998-99 and was awarded the Division III “President
of the Year” from the AAF 7th “Deep South” District.
On the district level, Elizabeth has served as State Director,
Student ADDY Awards and is currently Treasurer of the 7
th District. In 2005 she was awarded Otis Dodge Memorial
Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to
the AAF 7 th District and most recently honored as the
LSU College of Art and Design’s Most Outstanding
Professional. She has also judged several ADDY ® competitions.
For
her volunteer contributions to the Baton Rouge federation,
Elizabeth received the American Advertising Federation
Silver Medal Award in 1996 and was the first inductee
into the Advertising Federation of Greater Baton Rouge
Hall of Fame. Harris, DeVille & Associates, Inc.
has been awarded several Pinnacle Awards for Outstanding
Communications Firm of the Year from the Baton Rouge
Ad Fed.
In
addition to beau coup pro bono work, Elizabeth served several
years on the board for Of Moving Colors Productions, a contemporary
dance-theatre organization, and is active in the drama ministry
of her church. She recently appeared as Frau Schmidt is “The
Sound of Music.”
